Liturgical Renewal is one of the three processes in the Diocese of Tyler.  Overview of the Three Processes and New Evangelization.

The Parish Liturgical Coordinator (see more info linked below) are committed to training to assist in promoting good liturgical praxis.

 

  Coming March 11, 12, & 13:

The Diocese of Tyler will be offering training on the new Missal when it is approved, and the Bishop will direct implementation. 

First Workshop March 11 for Priests, March 12 for Deacons, March 13 for laity or clergy that missed Thursday or Friday.  click here for flyer

New Document: Instruction on celebration of the Mass in the Parish.  It is anchored to the four processions.  Bishop Corrada promulgated it March 2009.

The Diocesan Liturgical Commission is available for regional Liturgical Formation Day for the Lay Faithful.  These can be scheduled by contacting your deanery contact person, see flyer for more details.

Training Materials Available:  Parish Liturgical Coordinator training days April, May and June 2009 are available on DVD with handouts at the request of the individual to the Office of Faith Formation at the cost of $10 per session. The in service days which will continue to be held twice a year will not be available on DVD, but the handouts will be available if anyone wants that information.
