The Diocese of Tyler has announced a 10 month vocation discernment program for women who may be interested in religious life.
According to program coordinator Sister Angelica Orozco, EFMS, the sessions are open to all women ages 16 to 30.
“If you have ever thought about a religious vocation, or you do not know what God’s will is for you, we invite you to join us for this period of reflection and prayer,” said Sister Angelica. “When talking about discovering your vocation, discernment means the process of that discovery through prayer, reflection and discussion as to how God calls each person to love Him, whether as a consecrated religious, a married person or a single person.”
The discernment program will take place one Saturday per month for ten months beginning in September. The sessions will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Flint, Texas; they will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
All presentations will be made in English and Spanish.
