Bishop Gorman Class of 2016 to graduate May 13

TYLER – Bishop Joseph E. Strickland will celebrate the Baccalaureate Mass for the Bishop T.K. Gorman Catholic School Class of 2016 Thursday, May 12, at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul on the Gorman campus.

Commencement exercises will be Friday, May 13, at 6 p.m. in the University of Texas at Tyler Herrington Patriot Center.

The 52 students comprising the Class of 2016 have received more than $6.7 million in scholarship offers, and more than 210 acceptances to 88 colleges and universities across the country.

The graduating class is led by Clayton Morton, valedictorian, and Olivia Dugan, salutatorian.

Honor graduates for the class include: Joanna Bartley, Tyler Bate, Andrew Carney, Kaitlin Chaump, Matthew Cosentino, Daisy Cruz, James Donovan, Payton Fanning, Nicholas Felix, Michael Goodwin;

Also, Meichen Huang, Demetri Jasso, Blake Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Leanne Johnson, Emily Kent, Nayoung Kim, Grace Knight, Charlene Llave, Kristian Loving, Joseph Mallari, Addison May, Matthew McGehee, William Morales;

And Similoluwa Oyefeso, Carleigh Powers, Quinn Reeves, Savannah Reeves, Madalene Romeo, Molly Rust, Paul Ryder, Michael Schwarzbach, and Blake Thomas.
