Each year, October 15 is a special day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance. This year, Holy Hours and Masses will be held across the Diocese of Tyler. These are for anyone who has experienced the loss of a child whether by miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death.
Additional Masses will be added to the schedule over the coming month, so please check back to find a Mass near you.
Schedule:
Friday, October 16 at St. Edward’s Catholic Historic Church (800 E. Tyler St., Athens, TX, 75751): Mass will be celebrated in Spanish at 6:00 p.m.
Friday, October 16 at St. Patrick Catholic Church (2118 Lowry St., Lufkin, TX, 75901): Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Holy Hour from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
