Diocesan and Parish Financial Services

The diocesan accounting office serves the mission of the Church in northeast Texas by supporting the faithful stewardship of resources entrusted to the Diocese. In a spirit of service to the People of God, the office collaborates with parishes, ministries, and diocesan entities to promote transparency, accountability, and good financial management.

The Finance Officer and accounting staff assist the Bishop in his responsibility to oversee and guide the temporal goods of the Diocese, providing leadership in areas such as accounting, auditing, investments, the deposit and loan program, priest retirement, and property insurance. Through this work, they help ensure that the material resources of the Church are managed wisely in service of its pastoral and evangelical mission.

With diligence and care, the diocesan accounting office supports the Bishop in exercising appropriate oversight of the financial administration of all goods belonging to entities subject to his authority, fostering integrity and trust across the Diocese.
