The Diocese of Tyler Sanctity of Life Action Committee will host their first Symposium on Bioethics, July 1-2, 2022.

This special conference titled, Life Matters Symposium, will bring you the Catholic teaching on several hot button issues, including Church teachings on transgender issues, IVF, brain death and more.

The Symposium will begin Friday, July 1st with a special dinner and keynote presentation from Bishop Joseph Strickland. The event will continue on Saturday, July 2nd with talks from Jose and Stacy Trasancos, Matthew Sciba, Fr. Nolan Lowry and Dr. Joseph Eble.  The conference will conclude with the 4:30pm vigil Mass at the Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul.

The Sanctity of Life Action Committee is commissioned to promote the Sanctity of Life in the Diocese of Tyler. Their objectives are to teach the principles of the Gospel of Life, keep abortions out of East Texas,  and ensure that vulnerable people are protected against euthanasia.
