Cycle Prep Workshop (By Pearl & Thistle): Sacred Heart Church in Texarkana is hosting a Cycle Prep Workshop (by Pearl & Thistle) on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This 90-minute parent-daughter workshop introduces girls (ages 9-12) to the language of their bodies in a positive, adult-supported environment. Cycle Prep encourages girls to respect their bodies and equips them to navigate the natural changes which come with menstrual cycles. The cost to attend this workshop is $30/family (one ticket per family needed). Registration is required. Jubilee Closing Mass: Bishop Gregory Kelly will celebrate a Mass to close the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope in the Diocese of Tyler on December 28, 2025 at 10 a.m. The Mass will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Tyler. NOTE: This Mass has been moved from 3 p.m. to 10 a.m.

For God Alone Retreat with the Lufkin Dominican Sisters: The Dominican Sisters at the Monastery of the Infant Jesus in Lufkin are hosting a series of retreat days for college age women. These retreats will follow the monastic schedule with the nuns. The dates for upcoming retreat days are February 21, 2026, April 11, 2026, and June 6, 2026 from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Feel free to attend more than one retreat. This retreat day will help women get away from the busy world and be alone with the Lord.
