40 Days for Life Tyler Campaign: 40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigils. Since the first coordinated 40 Days for Life campaign took place in 2007, we’ve reached over 1000 cities in 63 countries. 40 days is a timeframe God consistently uses throughout salvation history to transform his people. The crisis of abortion is enormous. A tragedy of epidemic proportions, abortion is the leading cause of death in the world, taking more than 50 million lives every year.

Texas Needs Fatima Rosary Rallies: Texas Needs Fatima Ministry is promoting the “Flame of Love Rosary” along with Eucharistic Adoration in Churches for their Monthly Rosary Rallies. Prayer (especially the Flame of Love Rosary and Unity Prayer) and sacrifice are the weapons for these times. Basic Prayers for the Holy Hour are provided in English and Spanish. These Rallies will continue to be posted on their website Calendar. In addition to scheduling Holy Hours, they are also promoting “Block Rosaries” where people offer their home to friends, neighbors and/or family to continue praying. They are available to help organize these Block Rosaries and will provide the Immaculate Heart of Mary Statue from Fatima upon request. Young Adult Mingle and Square Dance in Nacogdoches: The Young Adult Ministry in Catholic Nacogdoches is hosting a young adult mingle at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church gymnasium (2508 Appleby Sand Road, Nacogdoches, TX 75965) followed by a square dance on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. The event is open to all young adults ages 18-32 across the diocese. The event will open with a “speed and greet” in the style of a speed-dating exercise in which young adults across the diocese can break the ice before giving way to a light pizza dinner and more casual conversation. Afterwards at about 8:00 p.m., the square dancing will begin where the caller will teach guests the basics of square dancing before the real dancing can begin. Pizza and beverages will be provided.
