Each year, October 15 is a special day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance. This year, Holy Hours and Masses will be held across the Diocese of Tyler. These are for anyone who has experienced the loss of a child whether by miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death.
Additional Masses will be added to the schedule over the coming month, so please check back to find a Mass near you.
Schedule:
Saturday, October 11 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (423 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX 75702): Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Gregory Kelly at 10:30 a.m. This Mass will be celebrated bilingually.
Tuesday, October 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mount Vernon (406 Texas Highway 37 S, Mount Vernon, TX 75457): Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 14 at St. Edward’s Catholic Historic Church (800 E. Tyler St., Athens, TX, 75751): A Holy Hour will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by Mass at 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 15 at St. Patrick Catholic Church (2118 Lowry St., Lufkin, TX, 75901): Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m.
