Red Mass: Bishop Kelly will celebrate a Mass of the Holy Spirit for the Legal Community (Red Mass) at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Tyler on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The Red Mass is celebrated to provide an opportunity for those in the judicial and legal profession to ask the guidance of the Holy Spirit at they pursue peace and justice in our community, and for the faithful to pray with them and for them.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Mass (Tyler): Bishop Kelly will celebrate a Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Tyler for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance on Saturday, October 11 at 10:30 a.m. This Mass will be celebrated bilingually and is for anyone who has experienced the loss of a child whether by miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. Texas Needs Fatima Monthly Rosary: Texas needs Fatima Ministry invites you to join all Holy Family Catholic Church Ministries in Lindale (16314 FM 849, Lindale, TX 75771) on Saturday, October 11 from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. by the Grotto in front of Holy Family Church as we unite to pray the Holy Rosary (bi-lingual) in union with all Catholic Churches across the United States. Life is a Treasure Celebration: 40 Days for Life in the Diocese of Tyler is hosting a Life is a Treasure Celebration on Sunday, October 12 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the Cathedral Center at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Tyler to celebrate the closing of Planned Parenthood in Tyler. There will be food, fellowship, music and door prizes. All are invited to attend!
Marriage Formation Leaders Workshop: All parish leaders involved in marriage formation are invited to attend Witness to Love and Beyond: A Workshop for Parish Marriage Formation Leaders on Saturday, October 18 at the Diocese of Tyler Chancery Office. The English session will be from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and the Spanish session from 1:00–4:00 p.m. We will review the diocesan marriage formation process, take a deeper look at Witness to Love, and share best practices for accompanying engaged and civilly married couples. Three to Stay Married Workshop in Nacogdoches: The Diocese of Tyler and Sacred Heart Church in Nacogdoches are hosting a Three to Stay Married workshop featuring Cor Sacrum Counseling and Consulting. Jubilee Children’s Mass: Bishop Gregory Kelly will celebrate a Jubilee Mass for Children on Saturday, October 25, at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. During this Jubilee Year of Hope, the Children’s Jubilee Mass will highlight the role of young people in carrying hope into families, schools, and communities. Bishop Kelly will encourage children to encounter Christ in a special way, celebrating the gifts they bring to the Church. The Diocese of Tyler welcomes all families to join in this celebration marking the Jubilee with a renewed spirit of hope for the future. The children and youth that attend will receive a special gift from Bishop Kelly.

Advent Retreat for DRE’s, Catechists and Faith Formation Leaders: The diocesan faith formation department is hosting Advent Retreats in English and Spanish for all DRE’s, catechists and faith formation leaders in the diocese. Requiem Mass with Symphony at Sacred Heart Church in Texarkana: Texarkana Regional Chorale & Orchestra Present, Requiem, By Marc-André Bougie, sung within the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for the Dead on Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Texarkana (4505 Elizabeth Street, Texarkana, TX 75503).
